Statement
My art focuses on exploring the connection between the person and the environment. I am fascinated with observing how everything in the world interacts with each other in unique ways. People in particular interest me because of how unique each of our experiences are. For example, walking on the sidewalk creates an instant relationship between you and the sidewalk; you are connected to it in a unique way, nobody else is feeling the sidewalk underfoot or interacting with the surrounding sky and wind in the exact way that you are in that moment. Examining these interactions between people and their environments is important to me in order to understand my own place within my own environment and the world.
