Statement
I am a digital artist who works in the intersection between painting, printmaking and photography.
I use photographs and digital tools to create images. Photographs gather information, so much that they can become like an exhaustive biography of a particular moment and place. With digital tools I can edit, transform, combine and augment to isolate or illustrate the parts important to me. Rather like taking a multi volume set of books into a short story.
My mother was annoyed when people told her that my child self did not look like her. As I age, the resemblance is clarifying.
